Governor Kathy Hochul unveiled her 2025 agenda today, delivering the annual State Of The State Address to a joint session of the Legislature:

The Legislature will begin acting on the agenda, they must pass the next State Budget by the April 1st Deadline.

The Binghamton Police Department arrested 20 year old Tayshon Smith of Brooklyn, for 2nd degree murder. Smith was found in Chesterfield, Virginia he is the 2nd person now charged for the death of Qualyn Terry last February.

The Binghamton Police Detective Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vulnerable adult identified as 45-year-old Chiara Liburdi of Binghamton, she has been missing since the afternoon hours of January 11. Liburdi is described as a white female with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket with a fur hood, grey pants, and black boots. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Liburdi is encouraged to contact the Binghamton Police Detective Division at (607) 772-7080.

The Oneonta Fire Department is looking to add to their numbers, they are now accepting applications for the Firefighter Civil Service exam, which will be held on March 1st. Applications are available at oneonta.ny.us/personnel.

American Red Cross if continuing with local Blood Drives, there is one today from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Pines Brook Church in Walton, appointments can be made with the Blood Donor App, at redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS.
