School district budget votes will be held today throughout the state, with many of the districts also voting on school board seats.\u00a0 Most of the area school district are proposing budgets that come in at or under the state\u2019s 2% Property tax cap. Locally, Bainbridge Guilford, Charlotte Valley, Franklin, Laurens, Milford, Norwich, Oneonta, & Walton are asking residents to pass budgets With tax levy increases of more than 2% above last year.<\/p>\n

UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital will be presenting a free Diabetes information program at the Sidney civic center today.\u00a0 Registration begins at 5:00 PM; the presentation will begin at 5:30.\u00a0 More information is available at uhs.net or at 337-4040.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
