A rally against the proposed CONSTITUTION Pipeline is scheduled in downtown Oneonta later today.\u00a0 The rally will be in front of Foothills Performing Arts Center on Market Street in Oneonta at 5:00pm. The rally is in response to the Paradigm Liaison Services meeting inside Foothills for local government and\u00a0business leaders.<\/p>\n

Assemblyman Cliff Crouch will be hosting an informational forum on the NY SAFE Act tonight.\u00a0 Crouch said that the law did receive a few changes during the budget negotiations:<\/p>\n

Crouch will co-host tonight\u2019s forum with Chenango County Sheriff Ernest Cutting Jr., Chenango County Clerk Mary Weidman and SCOPE President Steve Aldstadt, it will begin at 7:00 PM at the Oxford Rod and Gun Club at 214 Ingraham Road, Oxford.\u00a0 The meeting is open to the public.<\/p>\n

Motorists are advised that State Route 17 eastbound between exit 71 Airport Road and exit 72 Front Street will be reduced from three travel lanes to one travel lane for pavement work again today.\u00a0 Traffic will be shifted to the left lane, the work will be performed between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Route 17 will be opened to two lanes of travel.<\/p>\n
