The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 31 year old Andrew Whitney of Norwich for driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with .08, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, numerous equipment violations, and on arrest and bench warrants.\u00a0 Whitney is accused of operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated state; deputies also found that there was an active bench warrant from Town of Norwich Court for failure to appear for sentencing, and on an arrest warrant from City of Norwich for petty larceny and conspiracy.\u00a0 Whitney was arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court and was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on\u00a0 $11,000 total cash bail pending action in both courts.<\/p>\n
