Chenango county sheriff\u2019s deputies arrested 2 Norwich area youths for 2nd<\/sup> degree Burglary, 5th<\/sup> degree Conspiracy & Criminal Mischief.\u00a0 The arrests followed an investigation into a residential burglary in the Town of Norwich in which the subjects allegedly forced their way into the victim\u2019s residence and stole items inside.\u00a0 Both subjects were issued Juvenile Appearance Tickets and will appear in Chenango County Probation at a later date. Both subjects were turned over to the custody of their parents.<\/p>\n

The Chenango County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrested 34 year old Neil Freidel of Norwich for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.\u00a0 The arrest followed an investigation of a 1 car motor vehicle accident on Reservoir Hill Road in the Town of Plymouth.\u00a0 Friedel was released on an appearance ticket for a later court date. The accident is still under investigation.<\/p>\n

State Troopers arrested\u00a051 year old David Nelson<\/b> of Downsville, for Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. The arrest resulted from a traffic stop on State Route 30 in the town of Colchester; Nelson was issued Appearance Tickets returnable to the Town of Colchester Court on May 14th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
