Sidney village police arrested 33-year-old Christine Bochman of Sidney for falsely reporting an incident, Bochman is accused of reporting an assault that did not occur, she faces court action shortly.<\/p>\n

Both the Sidney Village & Town boards are in support of a plan to begin setting up their own ambulance district.\u00a0 Sidney village spokesman John Redente explains:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Redente said that the next step is a feasibility study, the final step would be to have an ambulance district with a commissioner and paid staff, that could answer calls within minutes of a report of distress.<\/p>\n
