A 3.8 Million dollars federal disaster award was made by the Economic Development Administration to the Delaware County IDA; to assist with Amphenol’s plans to move to a new location on Delaware Avenue in Sidney.\u00a0 Sidney Village Mayor Andy Matviak explains:<\/p>\n

Mayor Matviak said that this money is in tandem with the $10 million dollars in funding from the state, to move out of their flood prone site in Sidney to the new site adjacent to the Sidney K-Mart.\u00a0 Plans call the new facility to be up & running in May 2014.<\/p>\n

Norwich City Police are looking for 28 year old Shawn Fowlston of Norwich, a paroled level 3 sex offender who is wanted on 2 separate warrants. Anyone with information about Fowlston\u2019s whereabouts is asked to call Norwich Police at 334-1212.<\/p>\n

The Chenango county sheriff\u2019s department arrested 21-year-old Ashley Miller of Pitcher for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.\u00a0 Miller was found to be in possession of prescription medication that she did not have a prescription for, during a traffic stop in the town of pitcher.\u00a0\u00a0 Miller was taken into custody without incident, processed, and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Pitcher Court at a later date.<\/p>\n

State Troopers of Oneonta arrested 24-year-old Jordan Nardolillo of Cheektowaga, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.\u00a0\u00a0 The arrest resulted from a traffic stop on State Route 28 in Oneonta,\u00a0 Nardolillo was arraigned in the Town of Oneonta Court and remanded to the Otsego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash bail.<\/p>\n

The Chenango county sheriff\u2019s department arrested 19-year-old Cody Burkhart of Bainbridge on an active Arrest Warrant for the charge of 2nd degree Criminal Contempt.\u00a0\u00a0 Burkhart allegedly made a harassing phone call to the protected party of an Order of Protection issued from Chenango county court, he was arraigned in the Town of Guilford Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $2500 cash bail.\u00a0 Burkhart is to appear in the Town of Bainbridge Court on a later date.<\/p>\n
