Cuomo said that they are continuing to plan for the\nnumbers to keep increasing for the next 2 to 4 weeks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Cuomo 3-31-20)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Cuomo said that there\nare now over 10,900 people hospitalized, with 2710 in ICU beds, there have been\nover 4900 discharged &amp; the death toll is now up to 1550.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Public Health announced that the total of\nlaboratory confirmed positive Coronavirus cases in Delaware County are 14. 2\nindividuals have now recovered and are no longer in isolation. 6 cases are\nrecovering safely at home, 6 cases are receiving medical care in a hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Broome County Health Department\nreleased their latest Coronavirus statistics this morning; they now have 37\npositive cases with 3 deaths, with 42 in precautionary quarantine &amp; 141 in\nmandatory quarantine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Otsego County Sheriff&#8217;s\nOffice arrested 33 year old Josie Wright of Morris for Petty Larceny, for\nallegedly stealing medical supplies from Bassett Medical Center.&nbsp; Wright is accused of stealing face masks and\nalcohol prep pads, Deputies were alerted by the Bassett Security staff, the\ninvestigation is continuing, Wright was issued an appearance ticket for the\nTown of Otsego Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Community Foundation for\nSouth Central New York announces the opening of the COVID-19 Response Fund with\nan initial distribution of $80,000 from their own special funds, an appeal to\ncurrent donors to the Foundation has already raised an additional $43,000.&nbsp; The Foundations\u2019 COVID-19 Response Fund will\nsupport organizations providing essential services in the most rural counties\nserved by the Foundation; Chenango, Delaware, Otsego, and Tioga Counties,\nInterested donors can contribute online at donorswhocare.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Airport Day Committee at the\nEaton Airport in Norwich announced today that, Due to the impact of COVID-19,\nthey have decided to cancel Airport Day for 2020, and are expecting to bring it\nback again in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congressman Anthony Brindisi and\nlocal health experts &amp; officials will hold another Telephone town hall on\nThursday afternoon at 5:00 pm.&nbsp; Constituents\nare encouraged to RSVP at Brindisi.House.gov\/live to receive a call.\nConstituents can call 855-614-0159 to join at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, Additionally;\nthe call will be streamed with closed captioning for the hearing-impaired at\nBrindisi.house.gov\/live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Binghamton Rumble Ponies have postponed all Home Games\nbefore May 10, any ticket purchased for a game before May 10th will be treated\nas a rain check and will be redeemable for any 2020 Regular Season Home Game,\nexcluding July 4th.
