Governor Cuomo & SUNY & CUNY officials announced\ntoday that the campuses will all be closing on March 19th, for the rest of the\nspring semester. The steps are being\ntaken to cut try to stop the potential spread of the Coronavirus in large\nlecture halls & at athletic events, classes will continue until the end of\nthe spring semester online. Governor\nCuomo also suggested that Business owners should consider letting employees\nwork from home, or stagger work shifts to slow the potential spread of the\ncoronavirus in large work groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor Cuomo also announced that agreements are about to\nbe in place with 28 more labs around the state, to be able to administer more\ntests for the Coronavirus. The CDC in\nAtlanta originally started the testing, they quickly became overwhelmed, the\nWadsworth Labs in Albany then took on the testing, and more tests are\ncontinuing to be administered, making the need for more labs to add to the\ntesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orlando Tercero will remain in a Nicaraguan prison for 30\nyears, after a Nicaraguan judge made that decision yesterday. Tercero was convicted in Nicaragua for Haley\nAnderson’s death in Binghamton in March 2018. \nTercero killed Anderson in his Oak Street apartment, fled to Nicaragua\nto avoid prosecution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
