Governor\nCuomo announced that New York has had its 1st Coronavirus positive test\nresults.  The positive came from a New\nYork City Woman in her late 30’s, who contracted the virus while traveling\nabroad in Iran, she is currently isolated in her home with respiratory symptoms,\nbut is not in serious condition and has been in a controlled situation since\narriving to New York. The Governor asked for the Legislature to pass a $40\nmillion emergency management authorization to confront the evolving situation <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

State\nPolice responded to a 2-vehicle crash in the town of Chenango Saturday.  22 year old Mallory Neira of Owego lost\ncontrol of her vehicle & crossed into the opposing lane into a vehicle\ndriven by 82 year old Harold Sickles of Binghamton.   Neira was taken to Packer Hospital in Sayre;\nSickles was taken to Wilson Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his\ninjuries.   The accident remains under\ninvestigation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delaware\nCounty Sheriff Deputies received a complaint from the State Child Abuse Hotline\nregistry regarding alleged physical abuse to an 11 year old child.   Deputies arrested 55 year-old Yvette\nRivera-Wood of Sidney for Endangering the Welfare of Child, for allegedly\nstriking a child & causing injuries. Rivera-Wood was released on an\nAppearance Ticket and is to appear in the Town of Sidney Court at a later date.\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\nDownsville man was arrested on Arrest Warrant for allegedly disseminating\n\u201crevenge porn\u201d on social media.    Delaware\nCounty Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrested 44 year-old James Amato of Downsville for\nUnlawful Dissemination or Publication of an Intimate Image.  Amato was taken into custody by the Town of\nColchester Police & was turned over to Sheriff’s Deputies to be arraigned\non the arrest warrant from the Village of Walton Court in November, 2019.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delaware\nCounty Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrested and charged 50-Year-Old Edmund Rajner of\nSidney Sunday for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, unlicensed operation of a\nmotor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate, as\nwell as failure to signal a turn.  Rajner\nwas released on traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Village of\nSidney Court on a later date.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor\nCuomo announced that the state will begin testing for the Corona Virus at their\nown Wadsworth labs in Albany.  Previous\nsamples were sent to the CDC, but now the FDA Approved of testing in Albany.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

State\nPolice are searching for 37-year-old Casie Weese of Glen Aubrey, who was last\nseen leaving a party with her husband in Apalachin Sunday morning at\napproximately 1:30 a.m. but their vehicle ended up getting a flat tire a short\ndistance away from the party.  Weese was\nlast seen walking east in Main Street in Apalachin and has not been seen since.\nWeese is 5 foot 5 inches and weighs approximately 100 pounds.  She has brown hair and brown eyes and was\nlast seen wearing a black and white checkered jacket, jeans and black boots.\nAnyone with information should call 911 or the State Police at 687-3961. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
