U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer will be in Binghamton next week,\nas efforts are continuing to keep the Binghamton Rumble Ponies from being\ncontracted along with 40 other minor league teams by Major League Baseball\nCommissioner Rob Manfred. State Police responded to a crash involving a Susquehanna Valley Central School District school bus on State Highway 11 in the town of Kirkwood.\u00a0 State Police reported that the school bus was stopped, displaying flashing lights and the stop sign extended out, when 56 year old Michael Patchen of Conklin rear-ended the bus.\u00a0 \u00a027 elementary school students were on the bus, along with bus driver 61 year old Mary Reardon they were not injured, Patchen was transported to Wilson Medical Center with Hand injuries, the students on the school bus were evaluated by a school nurse.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
