{"id":7498,"date":"2020-02-06T15:00:37","date_gmt":"2020-02-06T20:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wcdoonline.com\/localnews\/?p=7498"},"modified":"2020-02-06T15:00:37","modified_gmt":"2020-02-06T20:00:37","slug":"wcdo-news-thursday-2-6-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wcdoonline.com\/localnews\/wcdo-news-thursday-2-6-20\/","title":{"rendered":"WCDO NEWS THURSDAY 2-6-20"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>State police responded last month to\nthe report of an Oneonta Job Corps student who was missing.&nbsp; 19 year old Elias Zedeno-Correa of Union City\nNew Jersey was found in an Oneonta creek off of West Street on January\n8th.&nbsp;&nbsp; State Police had searched for the\nstudent around SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College using a K9 unit, his body was\nfound the following day.&nbsp; An Autopsy was\nperformed at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, the cause of death appears to be\nhypothermia, but police are waiting for toxicology results.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>State Police at Oneonta arrested 43\nyear old Joshua Raudibaugh of Morris for felony of Aggravated Unlicensed\nOperation &amp; Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, on Main Street in the\ncity of Oneonta.&nbsp; During the\ninvestigation, the trooper observed Raudibaugh displayed common characteristics\nassociated with drug impairment, he was arrested &amp; was issued appearance\ntickets returnable to the city of Oneonta court on February 10th. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Delaware County Sheriff&#8217;s Department\nis investigating after they removed 20 dogs from a property in Franklin that\nwere not licensed.&nbsp; The dogs have been\nturned over to the Delaware Valley Humane Society in Sidney &amp; the\ninvestigation is ongoing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Catholic Charities is looking for\npeople to volunteer for their Mentoring program, spokesperson Kayla Johnson\nexplains:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(Kayla Johnson 5-10-19)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Anyone interested in mentoring can\ncall Catholic Charites at their Sidney Office at 604-4071 or by email:\nkjohnson@charitiesccdo.org.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>55-year-old Joyce Mitchell was\nconditionally released Thursday morning from the Bedford Hills Correctional\nFacility.&nbsp; Mitchell Previously Worked at\nthe state prison in Dannemora, she helped Richard Matt and David Sweat break\nout of the prison in 2015. After a three-week manhunt, Matt was shot dead and\nSweat was captured and was transferred to another facility.
