Broome County Sheriff\u2019s Department reported that a sergeant\non patrol observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Glenwood\nRoad, a traffic stop was attempted, the operator refused to comply. A pursuit went onto Airport Road, through\nBinghamton, onto State Route 7 & to I-88. \nDeputies said that the operator, 25 year old Paul Frost of Johnson City\ncontinued after the vehicle caught fire, Deputies and State Troopers attempted\nto contain the vehicle and Frost swerved into the Sergeant’s patrol car, lost\ncontrol and struck the concrete center barrier near exit 2. Frost was charged\nwith Criminal Mischief, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, plus 31 other\ntraffic violations, frost’s occupants were released. Frost was processed & faces court action\nshortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
