Deputies charged 31 year old Samantha Harrison\nof Hamden for Failure to provide proper substance to an animal; she was issued\na criminal summons and is to appear in the Town of Hamden Court at a later\ndate.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Regional Economic Development Council local Awards have\nbeen announced.&nbsp; In Delaware County,\nSaputo Dairy, will be able to Purchase and Install New Equipment in their Delhi\nfacility with their $599,000 award, Trout Unlimited, Federal Hill Culvert\nAquatic Connectivity Restoration in Hughes Brook in the Town of Delhi received\n$109,264, the Village of Delhi Water Treatment Plant will receive $82,000 for\nimprovements, &amp; Delaware County will receive $50,000 for their\nComprehensive Housing Study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrested 29-year-old\nMargaux Malekian of Dobbs Ferry, on 1 count of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation,\nUnlicensed Operator, Speeding, and Driver\u2019s view obstructed following a traffic\nstop in the Village of Delhi. Malekian was released on an appearance ticket and\nis scheduled to return to the Delhi Town Court at a later date to answer the\ncharges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Morris fire department was dispatched to the Brian\nMadden residence at 287 West Hill Road home at just Monday afternoon.&nbsp;&nbsp; Mutual aid was provided by from\nGilbertsville, West Laurens, Laurens, Mt. Vision, South New Berlin, New Berlin,\nPittsfield, and Mt. Upton, no injuries were reported, Madden escaped without\ninjury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Firefighters responded Monday\nafternoon to a fire at 959 County Highway 10 in Laurens.&nbsp; The fire at the Decker residence was\nattributed to a clogged chimney, the Deckers &amp; their dog escaped without\ninjury, friends &amp; relatives have started a go fund me page to assist the\nfamily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Cuomo announced a proposal for eliminating the\n&#8220;Pink Tax&#8221; on products aimed specifically for women.&nbsp; A study in 2015 that analyzed prices of toys,\nclothing, personal care products and home health products that were substantially\nsimilar and found that 42% of the time, products targeted towards women are\nmore expensive than men&#8217;s.&nbsp;&nbsp; Women\u2019s\nmerchandise costs 7% on average more than similar items for men, with personal\ncare products for women found to be priced 13% higher than men&#8217;s products.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members of the Governor&#8217;s administration participated in\nvolunteer events at 15 organizations statewide, they distributing over 5,600\ntoys, coats and school supplies to communities in need. Van Dusen was charged with 2 counts of Burglary, criminal mischief &amp;\nnumerous counts of petty Larceny, he was arraigned &amp; was released on his\nown recognizance, he is scheduled appear in the town of Oneonta court on Jan.\n2, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congressman Anthony Brindisi announced that he secured key\nlanguage in a government funding bill to protect the Bainbridge VA clinic from\nclosure.
