Organizers of the Goodyear Lake Polar Bear Jump have\ncancelled the annual event this year. \nOrganizers Brenda & Jamie Waters suffered serious injuries in a\nmotor vehicle accident last month & will be unable to participate, they\nexpect to hold the next Polar Jump on February 20th 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Binghamton Devils today\nannounced they will be holding their annual food drive starting today until\nFriday, December 13, benefitting CHOW. \nFans can bring in 4 or more non-perishable food items starting today and\nreceive a free ticket to a Devils game on Saturday, December 14 vs. Utica or\nWednesday, December 18 vs. Rochester. \nDonations will be accepted during normal business hours, Monday to\nFriday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, at the Binghamton Devils front office on the\nthird floor of the Floyd L. State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 16\nyear old Aiden Demorier of Bloomville, who was last seen on November 19th. Demorier is white, 5’10”, 180 pound with\nblonde hair and brown eyes, wearing black sweatpants with a white stripe down\nthe sides and a dark colored sweatshirt. He is believed to be in the Norwich,\nAnyone with any information is asked to contact the State Missing Persons\nclearing house at 1-800-346-5363, or the State Police Troop C headquarters at\n561-7400.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Department\nInvestigators, assisted by Correction Officers, arrested 29-year-old William\nLaraby of Utica, for Promoting Prison Contraband. Laraby is incarcerated at the Delaware County\nCorrectional Facility on an unrelated Sexual Abuse, charge, is accused SubOxone\n& another controlled substance while inside the facility. Laraby remains incarcerated at the Delaware\nCounty Correctional Facility & will be arraigned in the Town of Delhi Court\non December 17th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delaware County Sheriff Deputies responded to County Hwy 21\nin the Town of Walton for a report of a property damage auto accident\nSaturday. Deputies arrested 49 year old\nJoseph Lavin of Collingwood, New Jersey for Driving While Intoxicated, Unlawful\nPossession of Marihuana, Speed not reasonable and prudent and failure to keep\nright. Joseph was arranged in the Village of Walton Court and was released on\nhis own recognizance, he will return to the Town of Walton Court at a later\ndate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
