State\nPolice will be in full force throughout this weekend, with fixed sobriety\ncheckpoints, underage drinking enforcement and the “Operation Hang\nUp” initiative, which targets distracted drivers by utilizing unmarked\npatrol vehicles to locate drivers talking or texting.    Governor Cuomo announced that temporary\nlane closures for road and bridge construction projects on New York State\nhighways will be suspended through Monday, December 2 at 6:00 AM to accommodate\ntravelers during the busy Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
