The Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrested 34 year-old\nLenard Cox of Masonville, who is a registered sex offender & who is accused\nof failing to register 5 separate email and or internet accounts. Cox was charged with 5 counts of Sex Offender\nFailure to Report a Change of Address, he was arraigned in the Town of Delhi\nCourt where he pled guilty to one count of Attempted Failure to Register an\nAddress Change, he remains in the custody of the Department of Corrections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governor Cuomo today announced the launch of the 3rd<\/sup>\nround of the Energy to Lead competition with $5 million available for New York\ncolleges and universities to lower their carbon footprint & reduce energy\nuse. The competition is open to 2 or 4-year\ncolleges or universities that are REV Campus Challenge members and it is\nadministered through NYSERDA. Proposals will be accepted through February 20,\n2020. The Sheriff\u2019s Office School Resource Officer\nassigned to the Sidney Central School received 2 complaints recently from the\nSchool District’s Transportation Director regarding motorists passing stopped\nschool busses. Sidney School buses are\nequipped with state of the art video cameras capable of capturing images of\npassing vehicles and their license plate numbers during the 2 incidents, the\ndrivers were identified & were ticketed. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n Firefighters from Sidney Center & Surrounding\ncommunities responded to an outdoor furnace fire at the Fieldstone House on\nWheat Hill Road in Sidney Center.
