{"id":7248,"date":"2019-09-30T14:22:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T18:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wcdoonline.com\/localnews\/?p=7248"},"modified":"2019-09-30T14:22:17","modified_gmt":"2019-09-30T18:22:17","slug":"wcdo-news-monday-9-30-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wcdoonline.com\/localnews\/wcdo-news-monday-9-30-19\/","title":{"rendered":"WCDO NEWS MONDAY 9-30-19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">36 year old Zachary Boynton of Morris was charged with 3 counts of 2nd degree Menacing plus Endangering the Welfare of a Child, following an incident on Main Street in Morris Friday evening.\u00a0\u00a0 Boynton was arrested after 3 teens told police that Boynton pointed a gun at them,  State Police investigated &amp; reported that Boynton possessed a toy gun during the incident; he was issued appearance tickets to the village of Morris court on October 7th.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State Police arrested 36 year old Alanna Walker of\nBainbridge for 2nd degree Grand Larceny &amp; Falsifying Business Records after\nTroopers received a complaint from Walker\u2019s employer accusing her of stealing\nmoney after the owner located discrepancies in bank statements.&nbsp; Walker is also accused of altering her\npaychecks, totaling over $50,000.&nbsp;&nbsp;\nWalker was arrested &amp; was arraigned in the town of Bainbridge court\nwhere she was released on her own recognizance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A New York City Police Officer &amp; a Binghamton man are\ndead following a shooting in the Bronx early Sunday Morning.&nbsp; New York City Police reported that Officer\nBrian Mulkeen &amp; Antonio Williams of Binghamton were involved in a struggle\nfollowing a foot pursuit, Officer Mulkeen was shot by his own gun, he was\npronounced dead at an area hospital, Williams was out on probation following a\n2018 Endicott arrest.&nbsp; The investigation\nis ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrested 39 year old\nSabrina Hults of Harpursville for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor\nVehicle &amp; speeding at 85 mph in a 55 mph zone on State Highway 17 in the\nTown of Hancock. Hults was released on traffic tickets, and is scheduled to\nappear at the Town of Hancock Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials in Cape Hatteras in North Carolina announced that\na 75 year old man from Downsville, died Saturday afternoon when a rip current\napparently pulled him out to see where he apparently drowned.&nbsp; Officials have not yet released the name of\nthe deceased, A cause of death hasn&#8217;t been determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Deputies\narrested 20 year old Charles Kip of Needham, Massachusetts, for Aggravated\nUnlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle &amp; Speeding at 83 miles an hour in\n55 miles per hour zone on State Highway 17 in the Town of Hancock. Kip was\nreleased on traffic tickets, and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Hancock\nCourt at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Cuomo signed legislation expediting party\nenrollment changes to make it easier for voters to participate in the upcoming\nprimary elections. Until now, changes to party enrollment did not take effect\nuntil after the November general election, requiring voters to wait as long as\na year for changes to take effect. The new law will remove the October 11\ndeadline and give voters until February 14 to make changes to party enrollment\nand still vote in the April presidential and June congressional and state\nprimaries.
