The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car\n& motorcycle accident Saturday night at about 9:25 PM at State Route 206\n& Moran Road in the Town of Coventry. \nInvestigators said that 22 year old Vincent Corbo of Marathon was\noperating a 1998 Suzuki motorcycle on State Route 206, when 19 year old Sean\nSnyder of Afton was making a left turn from Moran Rd onto State Hwy 206, &\nthe vehicles collided. Corbo was\ntransported to Wilson Hospital, where he later died from his injuries, Snyder\nsustained a head injury was also transported to Wilson Hospital. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deputies arrested 23\nyear old Monica Towndrow of Oxford for Cruelty to Animals and Providing a False\nStatement, 26 year old Matthew Spicer of Oxford was also arrested for Cruelty\nto Animals. DOH Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker will hold\nan emergency meeting with the Public Health and Health Planning Council this\nweek to ban flavored e-cigarettes. The Governor directed State Police and DOH\nto immediately partner to ramp up enforcement efforts against retailers who\nsell to underage youth, with the possibility of criminal penalties.
