30 year old Dustin Freeman of Morris was sentenced in\nChenango County Court was sentenced to 18 years in prison, following a guilty\nplea for 1st degree rape & criminal sale of a controlled substance. Freeman pleaded guilty to raping a New Berlin\nwoman in her home in December and for selling cocaine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

25 year old Cody Franciscovich has been indicted in Tioga\nCounty Court on 2 counts of 2nd-degree murder in connection with the killing of\nhis 8-month-old baby Ruby, who was found on June 9th by State Police in a pond\nbehind St. Patrick’s Cemetery in the Town of Tioga. Franciscovich was originally charged with\n1st-degree murder charge, that charge was downgraded in the indictment. Franciscovich remains held in the Tioga\nCounty jail without bail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chenango County Sheriff’s Department arrested 29 year old\nSamantha Smith & 38 year old Vincent Guglielmo of Plymouth, following an\ninvestigation into the assault of a 4 year old girl & a 5 year old\nBoy. Smith & Guglielmo were charged\nwith 2nd & 3rd degree Assault, Endangering the Welfare of a Child &\nUnlawful Imprisonment, both were\nremanded to the Chenango County Jail on large cash bail pending future court\naction, the investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
