The Josie\nMusic Awards are on September 21 at Dollywood in Tennessee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Firefighters responded to a blaze Friday morning at 427\nOuaquaga Road in the town of Colesville.&nbsp;\nAll occupants escaped safely, &amp; no injuries were reported.\nFirefighters from Harpursville, West Colesville, Sanitaria Springs, Five Mile\nPoint, West Windsor, Windsor and Ouaquaga responded.&nbsp; The cause of the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FCC today authorized nearly $16.2 million in federal funding through the FCC\u2019s Connect America Fund, over the next decade to expand broadband to 8,088 unserved rural New York homes and businesses, the second round of matching funds being provided in a partnership with the state\u2019s New NY Broadband Program.\u00a0 Providers will begin receiving funding this month.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Locally, DTC Cable will receive $2,103,935 over the next decade to expand broadband to 712 rural homes and businesses at downstream speeds of at least 100 Mbps and upstream speeds of 20 Mbps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;- <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County sheriff\u2019s deputies arrested 36 year old\nRussell Fisher &amp; 58 Year old Joseph Fisher of Davenport on various weapons\ncharges after they obtained &amp; executed a search warrant.&nbsp; Deputies were assisted at the scene by State\nPolice explosives technicians,&nbsp;&nbsp; Deputies\nseized fireworks and components commonly used in the manufacture of explosive\ndevices.&nbsp; Russell Fisher was charged with\ncriminal possession of a weapon, he was arraigned &amp; was remanded to the\nDelaware County Jail on Cash bail, Joseph Fisher was charged with the criminal\npossession of a weapon and unlawfully dealing with fireworks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Cuomo signed legislation to enact sweeping new\nworkplace harassment protections.&nbsp; The\nlegislation extends the statute of limitations for employment sexual harassment\nclaims filed from 1 year to 3 years, expands the coverage of the Human Rights\nLaw to all employers in the state; Updates the power of the Attorney General to\nenforce the Human Rights Law; and Requires a review of sexual harassment\npolicies every 4 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">===================================<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State Police arrested 31 year old Edward Burnett of Utica\nfor Driving While Ability Impaired with child 15 or under as passenger and\nVehicular Assault.&nbsp; Burnett is accused of\nstriking and seriously injuring a pedestrian on State Route 8 in the town of\nColumbus.&nbsp;&nbsp; Troopers working a detail at\na Unadilla Motocross event on State Route 8, located a 20-year-old male from South\nCarolina unconscious, an off-duty Sidney Police Officer was on scene tending to\nthe victim when troopers &amp; then paramedics arrived.&nbsp; The pedestrian was transported to St.\nElizabeth\u2019s Medical Center in Utica &amp; was listed in critical\ncondition.&nbsp; Burnett was arraigned in the\ntown of Columbus court &amp; was remanded to the Chenango County Jail on\n$100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Cuomo signed 3 pieces of legislation expanding\nprotections for victims of domestic violence.
