All answers by respondents will remain confidential,\nthe answers will help the Chamber in their efforts to ensure that the services\nof the Chamber meet the needs of businesses.&nbsp;\nThe Survey link can be found at cxvibe.typeform.com and need to be\ncompleted by July 26<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chenango County Planning Department, working in\nconjunction with Opportunities for Chenango, is slated for a $500,000 Community\nBlock Grant through the New York State Office of Homes and Community Renewal.\nMoney will be allocated to income-eligible homeowners in need of making vital\nhome improvements.&nbsp; The plan would need\nto be approved by the Chenango County Board of Supervisors before the money\ncould be made available to homeowners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year&#8217;s Utica Boilermaker race was delayed for about 15\nminutes Sunday, not because of any weather related issues, but because of a\nhomicide near the starting line.&nbsp; One\nwoman was pronounced dead at the scene &amp;&nbsp;\nman was taken to an area hospital with lacerations, that investigation\nis ongoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Delaware County Chamber of\nCommerce will honor businesses at their 2019 Annual Business Awards ceremony on\nWednesday at 6:00 PM.&nbsp; The Chamber announced\ntoday that the event has been moved to the Meredith Inn at 4206 Turnpike\nRoad,&nbsp; Delhi, due to the likelihood of\nShowers &amp; Thunderstorms.&nbsp; The\nHonorees include the Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, as the 2019\nBusiness of the Year, Stagecoach Run Art Festival, headquartered in Treadwell\nand Franklin, and Table to Farm Tours of Roxbury, will receive the 2019 Tourism\nAward.&nbsp; More information is available at delawarecounty.org.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1 person was injured in a fire Friday at the Mayrose\nApartments on Lewis Avenue in Oneonta.&nbsp;\nThe fire started in apartment 206, the occupant was taken to fox\nHospital for an undisclosed injury, and 1 other person in another apartment was\ndisplaced due to smoke &amp; water damage.&nbsp;\nThe investigation is continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Efforts &amp; fundraisers continued Saturday in Bainbridge\nfor Sidney resident Heather Bucalos, who is fighting cancer again.&nbsp; Christine Oliver is one of the people who is\nhelping with the fundraisers for Heather:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Christine Oliver 7-15-19)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">KC Blass is also assisting with the fundraising efforts; &#8220;Buckle\nUp Nnew York in the Parks&#8221; is an enforcement and educational campaign to\nensure that visiting motorists and their passengers properly buckle-up their\nseatbelts while travelling inside state parks, This year\u2019s campaign will be\nheld through&nbsp;
