{"id":7066,"date":"2019-06-28T14:06:24","date_gmt":"2019-06-28T18:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wcdoonline.com\/localnews\/?p=7066"},"modified":"2019-06-28T14:07:21","modified_gmt":"2019-06-28T18:07:21","slug":"wcdo-news-friday-6-28-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wcdoonline.com\/localnews\/wcdo-news-friday-6-28-19\/","title":{"rendered":"WCDO NEWS FRIDAY 6-28-19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High School Graduations get underway tonight for several\narea schools.&nbsp; Windsor&#8217;s Commencement\nwill begin at 6:30 PM, Afton, Franklin, Deposit, Laurens, Milford, Morris &amp;\nCharlotte Valley will hold theirs at 7:00 PM.&nbsp;\nHigh School graduations continue into the weekend.&nbsp; Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, seniors from\nSidney, Greene, Delaware Academy, Harpursville &amp; Norwich will have their\ngraduation ceremonies begin at 10:00 AM, Oneonta seniors commencement exercises\nwill begin at 10:45 AM, Oxford Academy at 11:00 AM &amp; Bainbridge Guilford on\nSaturday Night at 7:00 PM.&nbsp; On Sunday,\nseniors from Edmeston will graduate beginning at 1:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 of the 4 Rochester Area suspects who were arrested earlier\nthis year for plotting to attack Islamberg in Delaware County pleaded guilty to\nconspiracy 7 weapons charges today in Monroe County.&nbsp;&nbsp; Vincent Vetromile, Brian Colaneri &amp;\nAndrew Crysel all pleaded guilty for their roles in hatching the plot to kill residents\nof the Muslims of America enclave in the town of Hancock. 16 year old Nicholas\nPheilshifter was also arrested in January, his case is pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Sherriff\u2019s Deputies arrested 29 year old\nChristina Belcher of Masonville for Grand Larceny, Criminal Possession of a\nForged Instrument,&nbsp; Forgery &amp; Making\na False Written Statement. Belcher is accused of forging the check of another\nperson without permission.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Belcher was\narraigned and was remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Faculty on\n$5,000 cash bail &amp; will return to the Town of Delhi Court at a later date\nfor further court proceedings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bainbridge Old Time Band will begin their annual series\nof summer concerts today, Bainbridge Mayor Phil Wade explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Phil Wade 6-28-19)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Concerts are also scheduled on July 19th, August 9th, &amp;\nAugust 29th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This Sunday kicks off a new concert series in the village of\nAfton with the Real Time Dixieland Band playing at the Afton Museum from 6 to\n8pm! Byron Furman was reported missing from his address\nin the Town of Sidney at about 10:30am on June 27th. If located, please contact\nthe Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Office at 832-5555<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State Police arrested a Mount Upton twice in a 30 hour\nperiod on June 22nd &amp; 23rd.&nbsp;&nbsp; 42 year\nold Karlton Tompkins was charged on June 22nd, after he made a U-Turn to avoid\na Police DWI Road Check on State Route 7 in Unadilla, he was apprehended along\nwith 41 year old Jason Lowe &amp; 25 year old Erica Marble of Sidney on drug\ncharges,&nbsp;&nbsp; On June 23rd, Tompkins tried\nto flee a trooper in his vehicle, which he crashed on Loomis Road in the town\nof Afton, he fled on foot, followed by 2 troopers &amp; a police Dog, a scuffle\nensued with 1 trooper injured and Tompkins bitten by the Police dog.&nbsp; Tompkins was charged with Reckless\nEndangerment, Reckless Driving, Driving While Ability Impaired, Resisting Arrest\nand Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.&nbsp;&nbsp; Tompkins was treated at Tri Town Hospital in\nSidney; he was arraigned &amp; was sent to the Chenango County Jail on Cash\nBail pending court action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chenango County Sheriff deputies arrested a Virginia\nresident on a Fugitive from Justice Warrant.&nbsp;&nbsp;\nSheriff\u2019s Detectives and Deputies located and arrested Randolph Browning\nJr. following a complaint being filed with the Sheriff\u2019s Office.
