All defendants were released on tickets and are scheduled to appear at\nHamden Town Court at a later date to answer the charges. Deputies were assisted\nby members of the State Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;New York Attorney\nGeneral Letitia James 16 State Attorneys General are urging the U.S. Department\nof Labor not to adopt its proposal which reverses federal overtime protections\nfor workers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Under the proposed rule,\nover 8 million workers, including over 600,000 workers in New York, would lose\novertime protections.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The proposed\nrule would change the white-collar exemptions under the Fair Labor Standards\nAct, which currently exempts from overtime protections for those in executive,\nadministrative, and professional &#8220;white-collar&#8221; positions. In order\nfor an employer to classify an employee as exempt, the employee must be paid a\nfixed salary, be paid a minimum specified salary and Have a job with duties\nthat are executive, administrative, or professional in nature.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrested 43-year-old\nJesus Bracero of Syracuse, Saturday night for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation\nof a motor vehicle &amp; speeding, following traffic stop on State Highway 17\nin the Town of Colchester.&nbsp;&nbsp; Bracero was\narraigned in the Colchester Town Court and was remanded to the Delaware County\nJail on 500 dollar cash bail or 1000 dollar secured bond. Bracero is scheduled\nto re-appear in the Town of Colchester Court at a later date to answer for\nthese charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New York is poised to make undetectable guns, including\n3D-printed guns, illegal in New York.&nbsp;\nThe bill passed the Senate earlier this month and breezed through the\nDemocratic-led Assembly on Monday. Police\nstated that the 2 men posed as utility workers, they forced their way into the\napartment at 80 Pennsylvania Avenue. The suspects were described as black, in\ntheir early to mid-twenties. They were between five feet, seven-inches and five\nfeet, ten inches tall. Both wore all black clothing, orange-colored\nconstruction safety vests and white construction helmets.
