A Broome County grand jury has indicted 44-year-old Larry\nHarris of Binghamton for 2nd degree murder and 1st-degree manslaughter, in\nconnection with the death of 11 year old Jerome Smith of Johnson City. Johnson City police arrested Smith’s Mother;\n30-year-old Shakia Crute for 2nd-degree manslaughter for the February 2 death\nof the boy. Harris was already at Broome\nCounty Jail on drug charges; Crute has been held since February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
