Delaware County Sheriff Deputies arrested 63 year old Alan\nBrown of East Meredith for Criminal possession of a controlled substance &\npromoting Prison Contraband, Brown is accused of possessing cocaine while being\nprocessed into the Delaware County Jail on unrelated charges. Brown was arraigned in the Town of Delhi\nCourt and remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail. Brown\nis to reappear in the Town of Delhi Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

State Police issued 13,038 tickets and arrested 259 people\nfor impaired driving during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend impaired driving\ncrackdown. The STOP-DWI initiative started on Friday, March 15 and continued\nthrough Monday, March 18th.
