Dewey from Sidney High School to Monday in Albany as part of the\nannual \u201cMusic in our Schools Month\u201d celebration.&nbsp;&nbsp; Dewey performed as a member of the\nprestigious All State Instrumental Jazz Ensemble. He is the first ever pianist\nfrom the Sidney area to be selected to play with the 18 member group.&nbsp; Choirs, orchestras and bands from across the\nstate travel to Albany throughout the month of March to perform in the\nconcourse of the Empire State Plaza as part of \u201cMusic in our Schools Month\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Otsego County Sheriff\u2019s deputies arrested 19 year old Skyler\nBlass of Otego &amp; 18 year old Treyton Hathaway of Oneonta on Felony drug\ncharges after traffic stop Friday.&nbsp;&nbsp;\nDeputies were alerted to be on the lookout for a vehicle that fled the\nscene of a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Davenport.&nbsp; Deputies observed the vehicle on State\nHighway 23; it was stopped on East Street in the City of Oneonta.&nbsp; Deputies seized 3 pounds of packaged\npsychedelic mushrooms and 5 pounds of packaged marihuana in the vehicle.&nbsp; Blass &amp; Hathaway were arraigned,&nbsp; Blass was remanded to the Otsego County Jail\non $20,000 Cash Bail \/ $50,000 bond, Hathaway was remanded on $10,000 Cash Bail\n\/ $20,000 Bond.&nbsp; The motor vehicle\naccident is still under investigation by the State Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">State Police arrested 39 year old Brad Keesler of Triangle\nfor Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Mischief and Unlawful\nImprisonment, after a report of a domestic dispute.&nbsp; Keesler allegedly choked a victim and\nprevented the victim from calling 911 and leaving the residence.&nbsp; Troopers attempted to locate Keesler for\nseveral days; he turned himself in on March 3 and was arrested.&nbsp; He was processed then taken to Broome County\nCentral Processing for arraignment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement of the City of Oneonta Downtown Improvement\nawards will be made Today by Mayor Gary Herzig as part of his annual State of\nthe City address during the regularly scheduled meeting of the Oneonta Common\nCouncil beginning at 7:00pm. The meeting will be held in the Foothills\nPerforming Arts Center\u2019s Production Center on the first floor to accommodate\nthose wishing to attend.&nbsp; As part of Oneonta\u2019s\nDowntown Revitalization Initiative, $2.3M was set aside to be provided to\ndowntown business and property owners for grants to update exterior signage and\nbuilding facades along with the development of quality upper floor housing. Conkling is accused of entering a building at a Lumber Yard and\nstealing various items on 2 separate occasions.
