34-year-old Jason Pantone of Hyde Park in Dutchess County\nhas been picked up by Federal Authorities, in connection with envelopes\ncontaining a suspicious white powder being delivered to several buildings in\nNew York and Connecticut, including 2 in Binghamton last week. Pantone was charged with conveying false\ninformation and hoax, he is accused of sending envelopes containing a powder\nand a typed note that said “ANTHRAX.” one of those was sent to the\nSocial Security Administration office at 2 Hawley Street in Binghamton, another\nwas sent to the United States District Court office at the Binghamton Federal\nBuilding at 15 Henry Street. Binghamton\nfire department hazmat unit determined that the white powder in the envelopes\nwas not hazardous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

State Police report that 2 people were arrested after a golf\ncart from Fire Fox Resort in the town of Nanticoke was located in the town of\nMaine on July 3rd<\/sup> 2018. Odbert is accused of physically restraining\nthe victim, who sprayed Odbert with pepper spray and left. Odbert became disorderly with the troopers\nand refused to comply, Odbert told his large dog to attack troopers, He was\npepper sprayed by a trooper and ultimately arrested.
