The Investigation is continuing into fatal shootings in Mohawk & Herkimer yesterday, where 64 year old Kurt Meyers of Mohawk apparently set fire to his apartment, entered into a nearby barber shop, shot 4 people unprovoked, killing 2, he then drove about 1 mile to a car wash & oil change establishment in Herkimer, and shot & killed 2 people.\u00a0 State police superintendent Joseph D\u2019Amico released the names of the deceased:<\/p>\n

Meyers was holed up in an abandoned bar on North Main Street in Herkimer overnight, gun fire had been exchanged at around 2:15 PM, and police have had no contact with Meyers.<\/p>\n
