During the special enforcement period State\nPolice increased patrols and conducted sobriety checkpoints to deter, identify\nand arrest impaired drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NYSEG officials announced that with the high wind advisories\naround the region, power outages are anticipated from downed tree limbs &amp;\npower lines from the wind gusts.&nbsp; NYSEG\nurges customers to avoid downed power lines. Even lines that appear dead can be\ndeadly. NYSEG customers should call 800.572.1131 to report downed power lines\nor other hazardous situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Cuomo announced that New York is making up to $31.6\nmillion available to ramp-up the expansion of electric vehicle fast charging\nstations to serve the future electric vehicle market.&nbsp; The plan approved by the Public Service\nCommission will leverage existing State Energy Research and Development\nAuthority and New York Power Authority funds to spur the private-sector\ndevelopment of the charging infrastructure to support the goal of 800,000\nzero-emission vehicles in New York by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrested 31-year-old\nShawn McGrath of Hamden on charges of Endangering The Welfare Of a Child and\nHarassment following a report of a domestic incident. Deputies accuse the\ndefendant of engaging in a physical altercation in the presence of a child.\nMcGrath was arraigned and was released on his own recognizance; he is scheduled\nto re-appear at Hamden Town Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delaware County Sheriff Deputies arrested 32 year old\nBradley Wallace of Delhi, on charges of Criminal Contempt, Unlawful\nimprisonment &amp; harassment following a report of a Domestic Dispute in the\nTown of Delhi. Wallace is accused of restraining another person while violating\nan order of protection issued by Delhi Town Court. Wallace was arranged in the\nTown of Delhi Court, he was releases on his own recognizance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sidney Central School District Board of Education has\nbegun a search for a new Superintendent of Schools.&nbsp; Sidney community, parents, staff and students\ncan assist in developing a profile of desirable attributes\/qualities of this\nindividual, at the District&#8217;s Facebook page or website sidneycsd.org and\ncomplete the survey.
