28 year old Stephanie Fletcher of Walton pleaded not guilty at arraignment Tuesday in Delaware County Court for 2 counts of 3rd<\/sup> degree rape, 1 count of 3rd<\/sup> degree criminal sexual act, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, for allegedly performing sexual acts with 2 under aged students, while serving as a teacher in the Walton district.\u00a0 Fletcher faces action in Delaware county court later this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Chenango county sheriffs department charged 33-year-old James Barnett of Norwich on a probation violation and 4th<\/sup> degree grand larceny.\u00a0 \u00a0Barnett was arraigned the Town of Norwich court and is being held at the Chenango County Correction Facility on $1000 cash bail, he is scheduled to appear in the Town of Preston Court at a later date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 26-year-old Stephanie Cutting of Bainbridge on an active parole violation arrest warrant.\u00a0\u00a0 The warrant for Cutting was issued out of the city of Utica Parole Office, she turned herself in at the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office & will face court action shortly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Assemblyman Cliff Crouch has launched an on-line petition to repeal the\u00a0 NY SAFE Act\u00a0 gun-control law passed by the\u00a0 legislature last month.<\/p>\n

Norwich Troopers arrested\u00a017-year-old Jordan Weaver<\/strong> of Norwich for 4th<\/sup> degree Criminal Mischief.\u00a0 The arrest followed an investigation into a disturbance on State Route 12 in the Town of Norwich.\u00a0 Weaver was issued an Appearance Ticket to appear in the Town of Norwich Court Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

State Troopers arrested 27-year-old Nicole Mills <\/strong>of Deposit for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance \u00a0and 3rd<\/sup> degree Bail Jumping.\u00a0 The arrest was the result of a bench warrant issued by the Town of Sanford Court, \u00a0\u00a0Mills was arraigned in the Town of Sanford Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested a 17-year-old youth from\u00a0 Preston resident for 4th<\/sup> degree Criminal Mischief & Endangering the Welfare of a child.\u00a0 Deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the Town of Preston, where the 17 year old is accused of kicking a door in and striking an 11 year old child, he was arraigned in the Town of Norwich court and remanded to the Correctional Facility on $500, and\u00a0 He will appear in the Town of Preston court at a later date.<\/p>\n
