Schools districts and municipalities would have to opt into the program to take advantage of the estimated savings; Crouch said that the numbers would be looked at again in 5 years to see if the savings can continue.<\/p>\n

Governor Cuomo today announced the completion of all highway-paving projects funded through the NY Works program. The program included replacing pavement at 172 sites across New York State, including approximately 2,157 miles of state roadways, as part of $229.9 million in contracts.\u00a0 Local Projects completed under the paving program include Route 17 from Hancock to Fish’s Eddy in Delaware County.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
