The “Help Tom Help Others” fundraiser will be held at Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta starting at 2:00 PM Saturday, to help Tom Quiter of Mount Upton fulfill his dream of getting a van in order to get out & help others with various disabilities. Tom suffers from Brittle Bone disease & is wheel chair bound, & the Catskill Center for independence, Foothills have teamed up to put on a benefit dinner & show featuring comedians & bands. \nThe Broome County Sheriff’s department is asking the public to help find a Town of Chenango woman with health issues, who disappeared 2 weeks ago today. 37-year-old Brenda Halpin suffers from Huntington’s disease which is a debilitating disease that affects her ability to walk, she was last seen on April 8th in her home in Chenango Bridge, Anyone with information is urged to call the Broome County Sheriff’s Office at 778-1911.
