About 3,000 firefighters & 80 fire trucks came to Owego yesterday to pay their respects to captain Matthew Porcari of the Owego Fire Department,\u00a0 Porcari died Monday night when a floor collapsed in a burning building in Newark Valley,\u00a0 firefighter Daniel Gavin was injured in that incident, he was eventually taken to the burn unit at Upstate Medical center in Syracuse for treatment.\u00a0 The fire occurred last Monday night at 871 Chamberlain Road in Newark valley at around 11:00 PM.<\/p>\n
