18-year-old Natasha Finch of Unadilla was arrested in the Otsego county Jail, for felony promoting prison contraband and felony criminal sale of a controlled substance.\u00a0 Finch is accused of giving another inmate a narcotic; she was arraigned & was sent back to the Otsego County Jail where she is serving three 6-month consecutive sentences on a separate charge.<\/p>\n

Delaware County Sheriff\u2019s Deputies arrested Joshua McKissick of Franklin, for one count of petty larceny.\u00a0 McKissick is accused of stealing scrap metal from Town of Franklin property; he was released on an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Franklin Court on January 10th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Hearings were held recently in Albany, regarding the future of family farms in New York State.\u00a0 Assemblyman Pete Lopez comments:<\/p>\n

Dairy farms are currently trying to increase production, as the demand from milk from yogurts manufacturers like Chobani has exceeded their wildest projections; however the milk prices continue to be low to the farms.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Steven Pasternak of Clifton Park for Driving While Intoxicated. \u00a0Pasternak was charged following an investigation of a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Columbus, he was released on his own recognizance to appear in the Town of Columbus Court at a later date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Chenango county sheriff\u2019s department arrested 35-year-old Edrick Rouse of Syracuse for Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and 2nd<\/sup> degree Promoting Prison Contraband.\u00a0 Rouse is currently an inmate at the Chenango County Jail; he is accused of possessing marihuana in his cell.\u00a0 Rouse will appear in the Town of Norwich Court today to answer to the charges.<\/p>\n
