State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit conducted a 72-hour road check at 4 locations along I-86 & State Route 17.\u00a0 833 inspections were conducted, 1,326 violations discovered and 101 vehicles taken off the road and placed out-of-service for serious safety violations. 45 drivers were taken off the road and placed out of service for severe safety violations including 8 for improper driver\u2019s license or for not having a driver\u2019s license, 28 for hours of service violations and 4 for not being medically qualified.<\/p>\n
