Bruce Barton of Michigan told WCDO\u2019s Craig Stevens about paddling with all those partners:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n (Regatta news 2014 Bruce Barton)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Barton & his team beat the 2nd<\/sup> place finishers by over 14 minutes. \u00a0 This year\u2019s 1 man pro race was won by Canadian paddler Steve Lajoie, he talked about yesterday\u2019s hot conditions:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n (Regatta news 2014 Lajwa)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lajoie also won the 2 person pro race 6 times with Michigan\u2019s Andy Triebold, Triebold & his new partner Daniel Frigon placed 3rd<\/sup> in this year\u2019s 2 person pro race.<\/p>\n ———————————–<\/p>\n Monday\u2019s 70 mile pro race saw new 1st<\/sup> time winners Guillaume Blaise & Matthew Pellerin from Quebec win the $3300 1st<\/sup> prize, edging Matthew St. Pierre & Ryan Halstead of Michigan by just 1 second.
