State Police arrested 51 year old Meridee Carpenter of New Berlin for Aggravated DWI with a BAC result of .27% & other traffic violations.\u00a0 Carpenter was charged following the report of a vehicle crashing into the Dollar General Store on Main Street in Sherburne and then fleeing the scene.\u00a0 State Police located the vehicle being driven on Turnpike Road; Carpenter was issued tickets for the Town of Sherburne Court on March 28th.<\/p>\n

State Police reported that last Tuesday Night, at about 11:00 pm, Trooper Timothy West, Jr., responded to a Delaware Co 911 report of a child-birth in progress in a vehicle on State Highway 28 in Franklin.\u00a0 Trooper West located the vehicle, and observed a woman who was in labor, assisting the woman as the child was born safely in her vehicle.\u00a0 Both the mother and newborn appeared to be in good health, they were taken by Ambulance to Fox Hospital & were doing fine.\u00a0 Police said that the woman declined to be identified.<\/p>\n
