The Chenango county sheriff\u2019s department arrested Keith Bassett of New Berlin for driving while intoxicated.\u00a0 Bassett was stopped for speeding, on State Highway 23 in the Town of New Berlin.\u00a0 Bassett is accused of operating his vehicle while being under the influence of alcohol. Bassett was arraigned in the Town of New Berlin Court and released on his own recognizance, he will appear in the Town of New Berlin Court at a later date.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n ——————————————<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Chenango County Soil and Water Conservation District is holding their annual Tree and Shrub sale through April 3rd<\/sup>. \u00a0The District offers a variety of trees and shrubs for individuals to plant for soil conservation, windbreaks, bird and mammal habitat, and timber improvement.
