Ganesh Ramsaran appeared in Chenango County Court yesterday, seeking to change his attorneys.\u00a0 Ramsaran claimed that one of his 2 attorneys has been chronically ill, and the other attorney is not diligent, the attorneys claim that Ramsaran has not paid over $70,000 in legal fees.\u00a0 Ramsaran faces a 2nd Degree murder charge in connection with the death of his wife Jennifer in December 2012. Her body was identified last February in a wooded area in the Town of Pharsalia.

Governor Cuomo announced the formation of the Strategic Interagency Task Force on Lessening Obstacles to Agriculture to address barriers to the growth of New York\u2019s agricultural economy. Task force members are from State government & agriculture, they will work to ensure that State agencies that deal with farmers are communicating regularly, efficiently, and lessening regulations.\u00a0 New York is 1st<\/sup> in yogurt production, 3rd<\/sup> in milk production, 2nd<\/sup> for apple production, 1st<\/sup> for cabbage production, 2nd<\/sup> in maple production, and 3rd<\/sup> in wine and grape juice production.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Broome County Executive Debbie Preston announced Monday, that Maines Paper & Food Service has won the name rights for the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.\u00a0 Broome Ciyunty Deputy Executive Bijoy Datta explains:<\/p>\n

Delaware County District Attorney\u2019s Investigators arrested Jesse Wilson and Samone VanBuren, both of Davenport for one count each of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument. Wilson & VanBuren were issued appearance tickets returnable to the Davenport Town Court at a later date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
