State troopers arrested\u00a041-year-old Todd Utter <\/strong>of Whitney Point for unauthorized use of a vehicle.\u00a0 The arrest resulted from a complaint on State Route 11 in Whitney Point on November 11th<\/sup> where Utter had allegedly taken a person\u2019s car without permission.\u00a0 Utter was located in the town of Chenango; he was arrested and was arraigned & was remanded to the Broome county jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n

State police at Oneonta arrested\u00a045-year-old Carolyn Murray <\/strong>of Oneonta for driving while intoxicated with a reportable BAC result of .17%.\u00a0 Police said that a trooper responded to the Oneonta court for the report of an intoxicated woman who was observed leaving the building and tried to drive away.\u00a0 A town constable stopped Murray until state police arrived; she was issued tickets for Oneonta town court on December 17th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Norwich police arrested 21-year-old Glen Potter of Norwich, for felony 2nd<\/sup> degree unlawful surveillance.\u00a0 Potter is accused of taking pictures of a woman while she was in a bathroom; he faces court action on the charge shortly.<\/p>\n

State Assemblyman Jim Tedisco is proposing legislation to crack down out the violent “knockout game” in which youths “sucker punch” innocent bystanders for kicks.\u00a0 Tedisco said that his bill would make the game a gang assault with a sentence of up to 25 years, & the Youths would be able to be charged as adults.<\/p>\n
