The Chenango County Sheriff\u2019s Office & State Police, arrested 39-year-old James Wilber of Plymouth Friday on charges of Reckless Endangerment, Menacing, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment.\u00a0 Wilber was found to be in an intoxicated state and destroying property in a residence with an axe all in the vicinity of a child less than 15 years of age, and for allegedly kicking & throwing items at the child, who escaped by climbing out of a window to a neighbor\u2019s residence.\u00a0 Wilber was arraigned in the Town of Plymouth Court where he was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 Secured Bond pending future court action.<\/p>\n

With the threat of another lawsuit over the hydrofracking issue, Governor Cuomo continues to state that he is waiting for the state health department to finish their research on any possible health issue relating to the gas drilling process. The Chenango county sheriffs department arrested 41-year-old Wendy Thomas of Oxford, following the report of a 2-vehicle accident Monday afternoon.\u00a0 The accident occurred at around 2:45 PM on County road 32.\u00a0 The investigation revealed that Sean Wahlberg was driving a pick up truck, when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Wendy Thomas, who had veered into the opposing lane of traffic, the crash forced Wahlberg off of the road.\u00a0 Thomas was charged with unlawful possession of marihuana & Failure to keep right.\u00a0 She will appear in court at a later date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
