NEWS THURSDAY 6-20-13"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>State police &amp; Walton Police have arrested 28-year-old Jennifer Morris of East Branch, for 12 count each of falsely reporting an incident and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> degree aggravated harassment.\u00a0Morris was arrested following the investigation into threats posted on Facebook toward the Walton Central School District.\u00a0Morris was arraigned in the Village of Walton court &amp; was remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $10,000 bail.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">24-year-old John Desantis of Johnson City has been arrested for allegedly robbing the M&amp;T Bank in Binghamton yesterday morning.\u00a0 Desantis is accused of entering the bank branch on Exchange Street at around 9:10 Wednesday morning; he was arrested shortly after the robbery on a charge of 1<\/span><sup style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">st<\/sup><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"> degree Robbery &amp; was arraigned &amp; was remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n<p>Oneonta police arrested 3 city residents on drug possession charges Tuesday.\u00a0 Charged were 37-year-old Terell Hardy, 20-year-old Jose Gonzalez and 21-year-old David Kohls, all of Oneonta, for 3<sup>rd<\/sup> degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.\u00a0 Oneonta Police made the arrests after responding to a reported fight at 40 Maple Street; police confiscated a large quantity of drugs, about $3,000 cash, and a firearm.\u00a0 All 3 were arraigned in Oneonta city court and were remanded to the Otsego County Jail on bail pending future court action.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>State police in Norwich arrested 28-year-old <strong>Jason Huzinec <\/strong>of Norwich for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Criminal Impersonation.\u00a0 The arrest resulted from a traffic stop and investigation on State Route 12 in Guilford Huzinec was arraigned in the Town of Guilford Court and remanded to the Chenango County Jail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Sidney Police Department arrested 40-year-old Gary Hackett Jr of Guilford for DWI, Driving with more than .08 BAC and Aggravated Unlicensed Operator.\u00a0 Hackett will appear in Sidney Village court to answer to the charges on July 2<sup>nd<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Sidney Police Department arrested 27-year-old Joseph Light of Sidney for 2<sup>nd<\/sup> degree Burglary, 3 counts of 3<sup>rd<\/sup> degree Burglary &amp; 4 counts of Petty Larceny.\u00a0 Light is accused unlawfully entering and stealing property from a residence on Grand Street and garages on Willow Street, and Colegrove Street. Light was arraigned at Sidney Village Court and Remanded to the Delaware County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond, he will return to Sidney court on June 25<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>The 2<sup>nd<\/sup> annual Music &amp; Balloon festival will be held on July 4<sup>th<\/sup> at the Chenango county fairgrounds in Norwich.\u00a0 one of the highlights will be the \u201cNight of Fire &amp; Destruction\u201d Monster Truck &amp; Motorcycle thrill show, according to thrill show organizer Jack Brady:<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>(Jack Brady 6-20-13)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A full schedule of events is lined up for the festival, which will open at 10:00 AM &amp; run through 10:00 PM on July 4<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>A concert celebrating the 100<sup>th<\/sup> Birthday for local legendary performer Al Gallodoro, will be held tonight at the B-Side Ballroom and Supper Club at 1 Clinton Plaza in Oneonta.\u00a0 A number of musicians who played with or admired Gallodoro\u2019s career &amp; talent will perform, a portion of the proceeds for this evening\u2019s concert will be donated to the AL GALLODORO MUSIC MEMORIAL FUND.
