State Police & US Marshall\u2019s are attempting to locate 38-year-old Michael Degnan, who is wanted for 1st<\/sup> degree Rape for the forcible rape of a 14-year-old female in Port Crane on June 8th<\/sup>.\u00a0\u00a0 Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Michael Degnan is requested to call State Police at 775-1241.<\/p>\n

The Chenango county sheriff\u2019s office arrested 24-year-old Eric Wright of Oxford on an active bench warrant.\u00a0 Wright is accused of failing to appear in court on charges of conspiracy & Petty Larceny, he was arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court and remanded to the Chenango County Jail on $1,000.00 cash and $2,500 insurance bond & he will reappear in the Town of Norwich Court at a later date.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

State Police arrested 18-year-old Alex Vandermark of Port Crane for 3rd<\/sup> degree Burglary, in reference to the burglary of Chenango Forks High School on June 7th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Vandermark is accused of dressing in a skeleton mask and dark clothing, entering the school, where is accused of releasing hundreds of crickets and a school owned Chinchilla, as well as acts of vandalism.\u00a0 Vandermark was arraigned in the Town of Chenango Court; he was released on his own recognizance to appear at a later date.<\/p>\n

Chenango County Sheriff\u2019s deputies arrested a town of Greene youth on a charge of 4th<\/sup> degree criminal mischief.\u00a0 The youth is accused of intentionally causing damage at the Children\u2019s Home Residential Treatment Facility in the Town of Greene.\u00a0 The youth was issued a Juvenile appearance ticket and turned over to Facility staff, he will l appear in Chenango County Family Court at a later date.<\/p>\n
