The Chenango County Health Department confirmed a 65th death form COVID earlier this week. They report 120 active cases, 393 quarantined & 8 people hospitalized. Otsego County Health Department reported 31 new COVID cases Tuesday, for a 4.7% positivity rate, they report 7 hospitalized.

The State DOT reported has begun a construction project on I-88. The 45.6 Million Dollar project will resurface the road & replace bridges from exit 19 Worcester in Otsego County to Exit 21 Richmondville in Schoharie County. 28 miles of road repaving & 14 bridge rehabilitations are included in this project.

The Oneonta Common Council will hold a special meeting Thursday to discuss & vote on their police reform & Rehabilitation plan, which can be reviewed by the public on the City’s website.

Delaware County Public Health will conduct a 1st dose Moderna Vaccination clinic Thursday at 97 Main Street in Delhi. The clinic runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for those eligible, more information is available at 832-5200

Beginning Friday, Collegiate Sports can bring fans back to the stands across the state, Large Scale Venues can host spectators at 10% indoor & 20% Outdoor capacity, small scale venues can host 2 fans per player. A Recent negative COVID test or proof of immunization is required.
