Governor Cuomo, against the advice of attorneys, made a statement & an apology today regarding the accusations by 3 women who claimed that Governor Cuomo sexually harassed or made them feel uncomfortable:

Attorney General Letitia James is overseeing the investigation into the allegations against Governor Cuomo; he said he would cooperate fully with the investigation.

New York State will begin administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at state-run mass vaccination sites later this week. The Johnson & Johnson Vaccine is a single dose vaccine, and the New York State Fair site will begin administering the vaccine this Friday. The State Health Department tested over 218,000 people Tuesday with 3.5% testing positive, the number of hospitalizations, Patients in an ICU Bed & Patients on Ventilators continues to decrease; there were 75 deaths from COVID Tuesday.

The State will begin lessening restrictions on social gatherings in the next few weeks, State Budget Director Robert Mujica explained at the Governor COVID Briefing in Albany this afternoon:

Mujica said that mask wearing & social distancing will continue with these new guidelines.

Chenango County Public Health reported 9 new COVID 19 positive cases today, they have 59 Active Cases, 229 Active Quarantines & 5 hospitalized, they have had 2443 cases since the pandemic hit the state last March, with 2235 recoveries & 63 Deaths.

Max the Pit Bull Mix has been staying at the Susquehanna Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals on State Route 28 in Cooperstown for 444 days as of today, Society Executive Director Stacie Haynes will trade places with Max all day today by staying in a kennel at the shelter to raise awareness to adopt dogs from shelters, as quickly as possible:

The Sidney School District was just notified that a 6th grader & a 4th grader have tested positive for COVID-19. The students have not been on campus since the last week in February, the Delaware County Health Department conducted the investigation and contact tracing, there will be no change to the instructional model at Sidney.

Delaware County Public Health reported 7 new cases of COVID 19 Tuesday, out of 220 tested.  11 were hospitalized, there are 91 active cases and 354 quarantined, and to date Delaware County Public Health has vaccinated 1,033 people.
