A new poll released by the Siena Research Institute found that New Yorkers support impeaching and removing President Donald Trump by a 55-38% margin, the poll also shows that Dividing New York into 2 states is opposed by 66% and supported by only 25%.  The Poll also shows that Governor Cuomo has a 49-47% favorability rating; his job performance rating is 41% favorable, with 57% unfavorable.

Nobel Prize-winning professor M. Stanley Whittingham will be celebrated at the Binghamton University campus this Friday at 3:00 PM at the Osterhout Concert Theater at the Anderson Center.  Whittingham and 2 others were awarded the Nobel Prize in chemistry last week for research that was instrumental in the development of the lithium-ion battery.

This year, New York State adopted a law to allow for early voting for the General Election.  Early voting begins on October 26th, and runs through Sunday, November 3rd, followed by Election Day on Tuesday November 5th.    More information is available at your County Board of Elections, or at voteearlyny.org.
