SUNY Oneonta’s re-opening was problematic, with over 700 positive cases associated with the college; Hartwick College meanwhile had 21 cases.

Governor Cuomo gave the latest statistics regarding COVID 19 today. 133,000 people were tested Wednesday, with 1460 testing positive, there were 13 deaths bringing the state death toll to 25,618. Hospitalizations went down by over 40 to 897, Patients ICU beds went down slightly to 197 and Patients on ventilators went down to 95.

Chenango County Public Health announced that they have reached 290 cases of COVID 19 since March. There are 26 Active Cases, 1 hospitalization, 196 Active Quarantines, there have been 7 deaths, 244 recoveries & over 32,200 tests have been conducted.
The Broome County Health Department announced that the county has had 138 new cases of COVID since Monday, they now have 2606 positive cases with 85 deaths, 1881 recoveries and over 3700 people are being monitored by the Health Department. Areas in Binghamton and Endicott are in a “yellow zone” requiring precautionary measures that include 50% maximum capacity in houses of worship, a maximum of 25 people for non-essential gatherings and mandatory weekly testing at schools of both students and personnel. Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 43 year old Duane Houck of Walton after they responded to a domestic dispute. Houck is accused of acting in an injurious manner in front of a child after he allegedly engaged in a physical domestic dispute, Houck was charged with with endangering the welfare of a child. Houck was issued an appearance ticket and directed to appear in the Town of Walton Court on a later date to answer the charge.

Delaware County Public Health reported 2 new cases of COVID 19 Wednesday, giving the County 137 since March. There are 10 active cases, all isolating at home, 106 are quarantined, and there have been 8 deaths and 119 recoveries.
