Governor Cuomo did not combine his Executive Budget Proposal with his State of the State Address Wednesday; he is expected to announce a date for a budget presentation shortly.

A.O. Fox Hospital announced the recertification of its Cardiac Rehabilitation program by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. To earn the accreditation, Fox’s program participated in an application process that requires extensive documentation of the program’s practices; A.O. Fox Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program has been accredited by AACVPR continuously since 2007.

The Delaware Academy School Board has appointed Business Manager Carey Schultz as the interim superintendent. Schultz replaces Jason Thompson who is taking a similar position at a larger district after 9 years in Delhi.

State Police & Broome County Sheriff’s Department announced that a high-speed chase early this morning ended with a vehicle fire on I-88 eastbound between Exits 1 and 2. More information is expected to be released later today.

New York would automatically add any citizen that fills out a state form to the voting rolls under a revised bill set to head to the state Senate as early as today. A similar bill failed to pass last year & has been re-worded; it has the support of Governor.

Court documents have been released showing that State Assemblyman Brian Kolb blamed his wife for his New Year’s Eve Drunk Driving arrest. Kolb allegedly claimed “You know how women drive.” after being arrested, his BAC was .16, twice the legal limit, he has already stepped down as the Republican minority Leader, some lawmakers are calling for him to resign. Kolb was driving a state-issued 2018 GMC SUV during the incident.
