The New York State Broadcasters Association has revealed the addition of 5 new inductees into its Hall of Fame, and 1 of those is WCDO General Manager Craig Stevens:

Others inducted this year include New York City Weather Forecaster “Mr. G” Irv Gikofsky, New York City radio personality Angie Martinez, Syracuse TV News Reporter Dan Cummings & Rochester radio broadcaster Bob Matthews, honorees will be inducted at a ceremony to take place on October 26 at the Rainbow Room inside 30 Rockefeller Plaza in the City of New York.

Otsego County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55 year old Troy McDonald of Unadilla following a traffic stop on July 23rd. McDonald was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle while Registration is Suspended, he was issued Uniform Traffic Ticket returnable to the Town of Unadilla Court at a later date.

Pennsylvania State police Arrested 40 year old Christopher Boyle of Binghamton, for allegedly selling large amounts of methamphetamine in Susquehanna County. Troopers encountered Boyle during a pre-arranged drug sale and arrested him without incident, they eventually seized Methamphetamine, Boyle was arraigned Friday and was sent to the Susquehanna County Prison on a $50,000 cash bail, he was charged with 3 counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, 4 counts of criminally using a communication facility, and more than a dozen other related charges.

State Police are looking for 2 people who stolen over $1,100 worth of various merchandise from Walmart in Oneonta. The incident happened on July 27, around 12:00 noon, Police said that they selected merchandise throughout the store, removed packaging off some of the items then walked through a closed register aisle before exiting the store. They were seen left leaving the store in a dark colored sedan with New York State license plates. State Police are looking for 15 year old Emily Clapper, who was last seen leaving a house on State Route 51 in the Town of Winfield on July 29th. Clapper is described as a 5’4″ white female with red hair, she was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, black leggings, and a pink shirt, she is originally from Oneonta, she may be returning to Oneonta or possibly Utica. Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of domestic in progress occurring in the Town of Walton. 43-year-old Gerald Murphy of Walton, threatened another person with physical harm In the presence of a minor, Murphy was charged with 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Menacing, he was arraigned in the Town of Walton Court where he was released on his own recognizance. The Town of Walton Court issued an order of protection on behalf of the victim.

Otsego County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of 32 year old Kyle Packer of Edmeston following an investigation of a temporary order of protection violation. Packer was charged with Criminal Contempt he is accused of being at the residence of the protected party violating the order of protection, he was being held pending arraignment at Otsego County Central Arraignment.

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced the ratification of a three-year labor agreement with the New York State Public Employees Federation, which includes over 51,000 New York State employees in a in a wide variety of professional, scientific and technical titles. The agreement, which runs until April 1, 2026, won the approval of 95 percent of PEF members who cast ballots.
